So I’m sitting in yet another airport charging my phone at a seat whose power outlets are sponsored by a local news network. The charging symbol is apparent on my phone, but no juice is actually being added. Seems like the perfect metaphor for local news coverage. They do report things… just nothing of actual use. Well, maybe the weather. But I can get that info from my phone… when it’s charged.
